Nike: Believe in the Run (Copywriter)
This was inspired by an affection for the subtle art of church marquee messages. The goal was to reconnect Nike with “core” runners who’d forgotten that Nike started as a running company.
The coolest part was shooting (and hanging) with the legend Stephen Shore, who, at 18, was the unofficial photographer for Warhol’s factory. That’s why he took a picture of Nico eating matzah at his mom’s kitchen table. Just… wow.
